David Lane

David Lane is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in supporting and investing in early-stage companies. Currently serving as a Partner at 1Flourish Capital since October 2017, David focuses on investing in startup entrepreneurs committed to principled leadership and company culture. As the Founding Managing Director of Diamondhead Ventures since 2000, David leads investments in disruptive technologies with strong intellectual property. Active in various advisory roles and seed investments, David is also involved with organizations like the University of Southern California's Viterbi School of Engineering Board of Councilors and multiple startups, including Functionize, MoCaFi, and Cequence Security. David holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern California.
