Kimberly Nelms is an experienced professional in child development and education, currently serving as the Manager of Child Development Programs and Services and an Early Learning Quality Specialist at Butte County Office of Education since June 2016. Previously, Kimberly acted as an Early Learning Systems Specialist at Yuba City Unified School District from August 2012 to July 2015 and held a Project Specialist III role at Butte County Office of Education from August 2004 to June 2012. Kimberly also has been teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at both Butte College and Shasta College since December 2005 and August 2004, respectively. Kimberly's educational background includes a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from California State University, Chico. Currently, Kimberly is involved in a collaboration grant with Sutter County First 5 Children and Families Commission, aiming to enhance quality in 33 preschools for children aged 0-5 in Sutter County.
