Alan Howie

Alan Howie has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alan currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Buttercups Training Limited since January 2020. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of Waytech Ltd, a company that develops and operates an online service for running sports leagues. Alan also worked as a Solutions Architect at BT Global Services, where they were involved in various government and health sector programs. Alan played a significant role in the development of the National Pandemic Flu Service website during the swine flu pandemic in 2009. Before joining BT Global Services, Alan worked as a Technical Design Authority at BT Syntegra, where they were responsible for solution deliveries in the government and health sector. Alan'scareer began as a Team Leader in Information Systems at Nissan Yamato Engineering Ltd. Overall, Alan has a diverse background in technology leadership and has gained valuable experience across multiple industries.

Alan Howie attended Newcastle University from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Microelectronics and Software Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a certification in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group.
