Andrea Louise Rataj has a range of experience in operations, management, and graphic design. Andrea Louise started their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate at DAVIDsTEA, where they eventually became an Assistant Manager and led a team of 15+ individuals. While there, they also collaborated on stockroom standardization for new concept locations.
In 2014, Rataj worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for the North York Seniors Centre, rebranding the Active Living Centre and creating an online community for those aged 55+.
From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Kupfert & Kim, first as a Restaurant Manager, where they managed logistics for catering events and food delivery, and then as an Operations Developer, where they designed and executed an Operations Manual for future company growth.
In 2016, Rataj joined BonLook as a Stylist, and within a year, they became a Store Manager. In this role, they were responsible for all retail store operations, implemented high-level sales strategies, recruited and hired a team of 12-15, and achieved a 20%+ sales growth in two years.
Most recently, Rataj joined Butterfield & Robinson Luxury Travel in 2018 as an Operations Coordinator.
Andrea Louise Rataj obtained their Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree in Industrial and Product Design from OCAD University from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Design Management Certificate from Ryerson University from 2012 to 2014.
