Summer Derrickson

Summer Derrickson, M. Ed, BM, BCBA, LBA, is a versatile professional with experience in both behavioral analysis and the music industry. Currently serving as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Behavior Technician at Butterfly Effects since February 2021, Summer also performs as the lead female vocalist for Rewind Band Baton Rouge. Previous roles include Private Vocal Instructor at LAAPA, Talent Acquisition Manager at Wanted, and Talent Recruiting Strategist at Music Industry Careers. Summer has contributed to event management as an Entertainment Manager Intern for French Quarter Festival Inc., and has held positions in marketing and customer service at Spears Group and Utopia Productions. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Education focused on Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Music from Loyola University New Orleans.
