Kurt Muehlner

Kurt Muehlner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kurt'smost recent role is as the Vice President of Engineering at ButterflyMX, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, Kurt worked at Bizrate Insights at Meredith Corporation for four years, starting in January 2016 as the Director of Engineering. During their time there, they were responsible for architectural design, DevOps implementation, and system migration to AWS. Kurt's earlier experience includes a position as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com from 2005 to 2010, where they served as a Technical Team Lead. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Luna Imaging, Inc. from 2003 to 2005. Kurt also spent two years at InQuira as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a leading NLP search engine and served as a Technical Architect for customer integration. Prior to that, they worked at SCO as a Software Engineer in various roles, including implementing SCO's internet server strategy and developing custom solutions for customer issues. Kurt's career started as a Research Assistant at The Center for Nonlinear Dynamics, where they designed and developed applications for laboratory hardware and image processing. Throughout their career, Kurt has demonstrated expertise in engineering, architecture, DevOps, and technical leadership.

Kurt Muehlner attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics.
