Shannon MacGilvray

Shannon MacGilvray has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, from April 2022, they have been working as an Implementation Project Manager at ButterflyMX®, where they coordinate the installation of video intercoms and related hardware in commercial buildings. Shannon serves as the point of contact for client communication and scheduling while overseeing documentation and certification of installers.

Prior to this role, Shannon worked at Sunstream Corp from October 2018 to April 2022 as a Sales Support Lead. Shannon led a team of Sales Support Specialists, providing daily stand-up meetings and workload assignments. Shannon'sresponsibilities included account maintenance and sales of high-end boat lifts.

From May 2012 to April 2016, Shannon pursued their passion for writing and technology by creating a lifestyle blog called PixieBudget.com. The blog centered on travel, crafts, and technology, and gained a following of over 9,000 on social media. Shannon also authored the book "Save the Big Bucks at Walt Disney World."

Before their blogging venture, Shannon worked as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Mayflower Distributing Company from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they managed national accounts, produced marketing campaigns, and coordinated all elements required for major trade show events.

From 2006 to 2008, Shannon was a Representative for Mara-Mi Product at DG Inventive. Shannon'sresponsibilities included inbound calling, customer service, discrepancy resolution, and purchase order tracking. Shannon also assisted with account management and sales, contributing to the transition of Mara-Mi products to Mayflower Distributing.

Starting their career in 2003, Shannon worked at The Art Marketplace as an Art Consultant/Management Trainee. Shannon served as an art consultant in the largest gallery in the country, assisting high-end clients with sales of fine art through in-gallery and in-home presentations.

Additionally, Shannon gained experience at Walt Disney World in 2003 as a Costumer. Shannon'sprimary responsibilities at Epcot involved assisting performers with costume maintenance, assembly, repair, and cleaning. Shannon also staffed an internal service desk and aided new performers with all elements required for each costume.

Shannon MacGilvray attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts. In 2022, they enrolled at Trailhead by Salesforce, but their degree name and field of study are not specified.
