Maria Newton

Maria Newton has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Student Ambassador at the University of Leicester in 2015. Maria then worked as a Radio Presenter for 103 the eye in the same year. In 2016, they became a Car Park Assistant at Leicester City Football Club. In 2018, they began working as a Language Tutor for Self Employed and a Cafe Assistant and Cook for Sainsbury's. In 2019, they took on a role as a Receptionist for Brook Hotels. In 2020, they became a Customer Service Advisor for Lands’ End Europe Ltd and a Learning Support Assistant for Wymondham Primary School. Most recently, they are a Customer Love Team Member for Butternut Box, beginning in 2022. Additionally, they have contributed as a Writer for DUCK Magazine since 2017.

Maria Newton began their educational journey in 2007 at Delisle Catholic Science College, where they completed their GCSEs. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Melton Vale Post 16 Centre and earned A Levels in French, Graphics and Illustration, and Politics. Finally, from 2014 to 2018, they attended University of Leicester and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish).
