Don Montanaro

Don Montanaro is an experienced leader in the fintech and investment sectors, currently serving as a Non Executive Director at BUX since August 2019. Montanaro held the position of President at Firstrade Securities Inc. for a brief tenure from January 2024 to July 2024 and was a member of the Board of Directors at Gotrade from October 2021 to December 2023. Additional board roles include a member of the Supervisory Board at Owlin from February 2020 to December 2023, and as a founding partner at Velocity Fund Management B.V. since January 2019. Montanaro has also contributed as a member of the Board of Directors at Openclaims until July 2023 and as a partner at Velocity Capital Fintech Ventures. Previous board engagements include Twisto and Yoco from 2020 to 2021. Don Montanaro earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Relations from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
