Vishnu R has worked for two companies, Buy Me a Coffee and Infiyo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Vishnu started working for Buy Me a Coffee in 2017, where they held four roles: Chief Technology Officer, Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Full Stack Developer. Before that, they worked for Infiyo Technologies Pvt. Ltd from 2016 as a Full-Stack Developer.

Vishnu R completed their Higher Secondary Education at Auxilium Navajyoti Higher Secondary School. Vishnu then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology at the University of Calicut from 2013 to 2016. Most recently, they participated in the Winter 2019 batch at Y Combinator.
