Manu Chandaria

Dr. Manilal Premchand Chandaria, OBE, EBS serves as the key mentor and advisor for BuzzClan. He is working as Chairman and CEO of The Comcraft Group of companies that operates in over 11 African countries and amasses to around $2.5 billion. The Comcraft Group of companies comprises Mabati Rolling Mills Ltd, Kaluworks Ltd, Aluminium Africa Ltd and Uganda Baati Ltd, which are a steel, aluminum and plastics manufacturing industry.

In addition, Dr. Manu Chandaria has also served in different capacities (Director, Vice Chairman and Chairman) for the East Africa Reinsurance Company Limited (2003-2007) and is also the Founding Chairman for the East African Business Council and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance.

To further his charitable beliefs, Dr. Chandaria has set up the Chandaria Foundation, making him the benefactor of numerous schools and clinics in Kenya. In 2003, the former Kenyan President, Mwai Kibaki, awarded his philanthropic and entrepreneurial endeavors by presenting him one of the highest Kenyan civilian honors, Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS).

He was also adorned the prestigious award Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II. Dr. Manu Chandaria is married to Aruna Chandaria and has two children and three grandchildren, and currently resides in Nairobi, Kenya. Refer Wikipedia for more information on Dr. Manu Chandaria.
