Ken Aitchison

Ken is an Special Advisor at BVA following a successful and extensive Technology and management career including CEO, GM, Board of Directors, VP of Technology and other senior executive roles for leading companies such as Novellus (now Lam Research), BOC Edwards, The Aerospace Corporation, Genus, and others.

Ken’s career has been focused on building high-performing organizations ranging in size from small departments to corporations. He is a proven problem solver with expertise in Thin Film and Coating Technology in Semiconductors, MEMS, Microfluidics, Optics, Aerospace and Medical Diagnostics.

His extensive Systems Engineering expertise spans the range from Unit Processes and equipment and into full manufacturing flow design. As a CEO, COO, and GM, his experience in streamlining product development and business processes is key to his strategic approach to helping growing businesses achieve their full potential.

Ken holds a BA in Chemistry from New York University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of London. Dr. Aitchison holds numerous patents and has published numerous technical papers.
