Michal Cerman

Michal Cerman has a diverse work experience in software development. Michal started their career as an Android Developer at BlindShell, where they worked on an Android application for visually impaired people. During their time there, they also conducted usability tests and presented the project at conferences.

After that, they joined CTS Europe s.r.o as a PHP Developer, where they contributed to developing a CMS for creating websites.

Michal then worked as an Android/Java SW Engineer at CertiCon a.s., where they worked on various projects in small teams, utilizing their skills in Java SE, EE, and Android SDK.

Michal then joined iflix as an Android Developer, focusing on implementing new features and bug fixes for their Android TV and Set Top Box applications.

Later, Michal joined Massive Interactive as an Android Developer, working on their AXIS platform, which is trusted by leading telcos, broadcasters, and content owners for targeted OTT user experiences.

Currently, they are working at BVGroup, where they started as an Android Developer and eventually became the Android Team Lead.

Michal Cerman obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Technology/Technician from Czech Technical University in Prague in 2011. Michal then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2014. In 2012, Michal attended Linköping University for a short period of time to study Information Technology. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Google Developer Challenge Scholarship from Udacity in February 2017, and became a Google Certified Associate Android Developer through BadgeCert in May 2017. Michal also completed the "Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems" course and received a Coursera Verified Certificate in 2014. Michal showcased advanced fluency in English through the Duolingo platform, although the exact date is not specified.
