Tim Hemsath, AIA, WELL AP, LEED AP, Fitwel Ambassador, is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in architectural engineering and sustainable design. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction and as an architect at BVH Architecture, Tim Hemsath previously held the role of Sustainable Design Office Lead at HDR, where significant contributions included energy analysis and project certifications. As a founding Research Fellow at the Center for Urban Sustainability, Tim Hemsath focused on interdisciplinary research and strategic outreach. With a solid academic foundation as a former tenured Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Tim Hemsath holds a Master's degree in Architecture and a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies from the same institution, showcasing a strong commitment to advancing sustainable practices in architecture.
