Russell Spooner

Russell Spooner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maintenance management and engineering. Currently serving as Business Process Manager – Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at BW Energy since December 2020, Russell Spooner has successfully implemented and managed IFS CMMS, optimizing maintenance operations across the company's assets. Previously, Russell held roles such as Rig Maintenance Superintendent, overseeing the conversion of a drilling rig into a Mobile Offshore Production Unit, and Maintenance Superintendent, where responsibilities included the company-wide rollout of the IFS 10 CMMS. Russell Spooner's career began in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineering Artificer, followed by positions at Ensco plc as an Oil Rig Electrician, and at Borr Drilling in various supervisory electrical roles. Russell Spooner is an alumnus of the University of Portsmouth and Ivybridge Community College.
