Adam Barton

Barossa Project CRO at BW Offshore

Adam Barton has a diverse work experience in various companies. Adam started their career in 2001 as an apprentice at TTE Technical, where they gained engineering ONC and process operations NVQ2 certifications. Adam then worked at Ineos as a control room operator, responsible for process control and stock control systems. Later, Adam worked at Maersk Oil as a production technician/CRO in the North Sea sector. Adam'srole included operating and maintaining oil production and export systems, wellhead equipment, and subsea production systems. Adam also worked at Bumi Armada as a lead CRO/technician on the Kraken FPSO Project in Singapore and at Wood Group as a lead CRO/production technician on the Dana Western Isles Project in China. Currently, they are employed by BW Offshore as the Barossa Project CRO, overseeing the operation of the crude oil separation and stabilization plant.

Adam Barton attended South Wirral High School from 1996 to 2001, but did not obtain a degree or field of study during that time. Adam then went on to attend the Technical Training Enterprise from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an HNC in Plant and Process Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Adam obtained various qualifications including a NVQ3 in Process Operations, Complex processing from City & Guilds in 2006, and an HNC in Plant and Process Engineering from BTEC in 2005. Adam also obtained several other certifications, such as NVQ2 in Process Engineering Maintenance and Process Operations, an ONC in Engineering, and additional training provided by various institutions such as OPITO, Maersk Oil, and AFS Technologies Ltd.
