Lead Document Controller, Projects at BW Offshore

Jasmine Ong has extensive experience in document control and management, spanning over several industries. Jasmine started their career in Maxtor Singapore Limited as an Engineering Change Analyst from 1987 to 1990. Jasmine then worked at Singatronics Limited as a Senior Projects Engineering Assistant from 1990 to 1995. Following this, Jasmine joined Aztech Group as a Documentation Officer for seven years. Jasmine continued their work in document control at Hitachi GST as a Documentation Control Engineer from 2002 to 2003. Jasmine then worked at Clearlab as a Document Control Officer from 2003 to 2005. Jasmine's next role was at Yokogawa, where they served as a Document Controller and Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Jasmine then worked at Prosafe Production Pte Ltd as a Senior Document Controller from 2007 to 2010. Currently, Jasmine holds the position of Lead Document Controller, Projects at BW Offshore since 2018.

Jasmine Ong completed their education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Industrial Automation. In addition to their degree, Jasmine has also obtained various certifications throughout the years, including training in negotiation skills, transitioning to a managerial position, advanced document control and records management, time and self-management, people management, business writing skills, interpersonal communication skills, lead document controller certification, Microsoft Excel, ISO analysis and development, good documentation practice, and ISO awareness training.
