Rachel Cheetham

Rachel Cheetham has a diverse work experience in the environmental consulting and remediation field. Rachel started their career as an Environmental Consultant at BWB Consulting Ltd in July 2004 and worked in various roles within the company, including Senior Environmental Consultant, Principal Environmental Consultant, and Business Unit Manager - Contaminated Land until May 2016. From May 2016 to May 2023, they served as a Director - Contaminated Land at BWB Consulting Ltd. Rachel then joined the company WSP Remediation Ltd as a Remediation Scientist from September 2002 to July 2004. Recently, they have taken on the role of Operations Director - Environment Group at BWB Consulting Ltd from January 2021 onwards.

Rachel Cheetham has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Soil Science and Environmental Pollution from the University of Reading, which they obtained from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography from the University of Derby, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, Rachel has obtained several certifications: CEnv from the Society for the Environment, CSci from The Science Council, and MCIWEM C.WEM from CIWEM, all in December 2013.
