Andrew Long

Andrew Long, P. Eng., is a highly experienced mechanical engineering professional currently serving as the Mechanical Engineering Lead at BWX Technologies, Inc. since December 2017, where responsibilities include the design, build, test, and installation of medical radioisotope irradiating equipment for CANDU power reactors. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Project Engineer at Ontario Power Generation, focusing on various refurbishment projects. Andrew also held positions as a Field Engineer at RCM Technologies, a Mechanical Engineer at GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Canada Inc., and a Design Engineer/Program Manager at Armada Toolworks Ltd. Andrew's career began at General Motors as a Production Supervisor. Andrew earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University in 2010.
