Blake Wiggins

Blake Wiggins, Ph.D., is a Nuclear Materials Engineering Manager at BWX Technologies, Inc., where they lead a team focused on sealed radioactive source production, root cause analysis, and R&D for medical radioisotopes and nuclear fuel. Wiggins holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry, during which they developed a novel imaging detector for nuclear physics applications. Previously, Wiggins served as a radiochemist and has expanded their role to include project management and supervision. They have also worked as a lab technician and supplemental instruction leader at Georgia Southern University and Indiana University.
