Jason Powell

Jason Powell has extensive experience in security management, currently serving as Security & Clearance Programs Manager and Facility Security Officer at BWX Technologies, Inc. since February 2006. In this role, Jason leads and mentors the TSG Security team, ensuring compliance with Department of Energy standards and improving operational efficiency. Jason has held various positions within BWX, including Senior Security Manager and Principal Security Specialist, overseeing protective operations and providing security support across multiple facilities. Jason’s prior experience includes military service with the Virginia National Guard and the US Navy, along with roles in law enforcement and private security. Jason holds multiple degrees from Liberty University, including an upcoming PhD in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security.
