Pete Hildreth

Pete Hildreth is a highly experienced operations director at BWX Technologies, Inc., where responsibilities include full-time oversight of operations since March 2021. Prior to this role, Pete served as Vice President and Site Manager at BWSR from September 2017 to March 2021, leading a workforce of 60 employees and managing an annual budget exceeding $10 million for the decommissioning and decontamination of Naval Nuclear Power Program facilities. Additionally, Pete held the position of Project Manager at APTIM concurrently with the Vice President role. Pete's military background includes serving as a Captain in the US Navy from November 2007 to August 2017, leading teams in nuclear safety assessments as a Senior Member of the Nuclear Propulsion Examining Board. Academically, Pete holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
