Sharon Smoot

Sharon Smoot is an accomplished executive leader currently serving as the President of the Nuclear Operations Group at BWX Technologies, Inc. Since 2017, Sharon held significant roles including Vice Director of the Navy Staff for the United States Department of the Navy and Senior Executive at Bechtel National Inc. Prior to these positions, Sharon was the Executive Director for Logistics, Maintenance, & Industrial Operations at Naval Sea Systems Command from 2006 to 2019. Sharon is pursuing a Master’s Degree from Old Dominion University and has a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
