Lene Tanggaard

Lene Tanggaard holds extensive experience in academia and advisory roles. Currently serving in multiple capacities including a member of the Dåbskommissionen at Kirkeministeriet, a member of the Danmarks Forsknings- og Innovationspolitiske råd, and a member of the Regeringens Trivselskommission under Undervisningsministeriet og Kulturministeriet, Lene is also a board member at the Lifestyle & Design Cluster, Danish Design Centre, and Gyldendal. Since 2020, Lene has been the rector at Designskolen Kolding and has been a full professor at Aalborg University since 2000, where additional roles include co-director of the Centre for Qualitative Studies and knowledge group manager. Lene is also the regional editor for the International Journal of Qualitative Research in Education and a member of the advisory board for Aarhus Kommune's innovationsstrategi. Lene Tanggaard earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Aalborg University and holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Aarhus University.
