Louisa Hayman

Louisa Hayman has extensive work experience in the field of talent acquisition, recruitment, and human resources. Louisa is currently the Head of People at By Miles since October 2021, where they oversee the people operations and talent strategy. Prior to this, they held the position of Talent Lead at By Miles from April 2020 to October 2021, where they played a key role in talent acquisition and management. Before joining By Miles, Louisa worked as a Talent Acquisition Lead at Heist Studios from April 2019 to April 2020 on a contract basis.

In addition to their roles at By Miles and Heist Studios, Louisa also had various independent consulting positions. Louisa worked as an Independent Recruitment and On-boarding Consultant from January 2017 to July 2019, providing freelance services to different organizations. During this time, they also served as a Detective Programme Project Manager (Contract) at Police Now from July 2018 to January 2019. Louisa also worked as a Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Senior Manager (contract) at AccorHotels from October 2017 to July 2018.

Prior to their freelance work, Louisa gained valuable experience at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, where they held the position of Candidate Experience, Engagement & Rec Ops Manager. Louisa joined the organization in June 2010 and played a crucial role in redesigning and implementing recruitment strategies. Louisa managed the candidate journey for over 20,000 global applicants annually. Before joining Royal Bank of Scotland, they worked as a Resourcing Project Manager (Contract) at GTI Recruiting Solutions from January 2010 to May 2010.

Louisa's earlier experience includes working as an Integrated Resourcing Lead at Havas People from July 2008 to January 2010, where they managed key client accounts and advised on recruitment best practices. Louisa also served as a Resourcing Project Manager at Penna from August 2004 to July 2008, where they delivered resourcing projects for high-profile clients like Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays PLC. Louisa even spent 8 months in Sydney working with Chandler McLeod, the Australian sister company, on recruitment operations integration.

Louisa began their career as a Research Associate & Graduate Recruiter at Morgan Stanley from May 2003 to September 2004.

Louisa Hayman completed a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Image Management from Leeds Beckett University. This educational journey took place from 1997 to 2000.
