Lisa Gibson is an experienced professional in the catering and hospitality industry, currently serving as GM of Catering Services at By Word of Mouth since June 2015. Prior to this role, Lisa held the position of Catering Project Manager at Compass Group from June 2012 to May 2015, overseeing site operations including kitchen management, HR, and financials. Previously, Lisa worked as Chef Manager at Ericsson (TSAfrika) from May 2005 to June 2012, managing menu and event planning as well as client relations and financial responsibilities. Additional experience includes a role in Internal Audit at TSAfrika, a Catering Manager position at Fedics running a staff dining room, and an early training position at FNB Group Catering. Lisa holds a BCom in Accountancy from Damelin and a Higher National Diploma in Catering Management from Wits Hotel School.
