Chunyu Lin

Chunyu Lin is a Principal Software Architect at BYD since May 2023, focusing on car multimedia systems. Previously, Chunyu served as a Senior Software Architect at Nubia Technology Co., Ltd. from February 2017 to August 2023, earning recognition as Employee of the Year in 2018 and receiving an award for product quality improvement. At Nubia, Chunyu led an architect team in optimizing Android system performance and energy efficiency. Earlier experience includes a Senior Manager position at HTC, where responsibilities included Android application performance and security design, as well as roles at National Tsing Hua University as a lecturer in data structure and at the Industrial Technology Research Institutes as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on wireless localization and text filtering technologies. Chunyu holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University, along with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Computer Science from Soochow University.
