Balaji Bankapur

Balaji Bankapur is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Software Architect at Vantive since August 2025, Balaji previously held a similar role at Baxter International Inc. from August 2017 to August 2025, where contributions focused on infusion pump software. Prior to Baxter, Balaji worked at GE Healthcare from November 2010 to July 2017, leading technical efforts for anesthesia display software. Earlier experience includes roles at Electronics for Imaging and Hewlett Packard, where responsibilities ranged from feature design and implementation to enhancing user-space commands for HP-UX. Balaji holds an M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B.E. in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
