James Ng

James Ng is a seasoned leader in the transportation and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Managing Director of BYD Singapore since July 2019, where efforts focus on advancing Singapore's electric vehicle infrastructure. Concurrently, James holds the role of Managing Director at HDT Singapore Holding Pte Ltd, promoting the growth of taxi and eBus fleets in the Singapore market. James has previously held significant positions, including Vice President at SMRT Corporation Ltd and Assistant Vice President at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, along with various leadership roles within the Singapore Armed Forces. James holds a Master of Business Administration from Imperial College London, a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the National University of Singapore.
