Ron Belldegrun

Ron Belldegrun started ByHeart with his sister Mia because he believes that proactive health should start on day 1 with the best nutrition for babies during this most critical stage of development. He was inspired by the opportunity to bring together the world’s pediatric nutrition experts, best-in-class ingredient partners, and their passionate and experienced team to translate leading breast milk research into next-generation baby nutrition. Ron brings over a decade of investing experience in Healthcare and Infant Formula. Prior to ByHeart, Ron founded Consumer Health Ventures (CHV), a company that invests in businesses that improve lives. Prior to CHV, Ron spent 8 years at Visium Asset Management, a healthcare-focused investment fund where he was responsible for a $1B portfolio across Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health investments. Ron graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Major in Biological Basis of Behavior and a Minor in Healthcare Management in Wharton. Ron is an active board member of the Vagelos Lifescience and Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania/Wharton.
