Shannon Morrison

Shannon Morrison is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Regional Enduse Manager for Homecare & Industrial Solutions at BYK Additives & Instruments since October 2013, while also holding the position of Senior Research Chemist. Prior roles include Senior Research Chemist at Southern Clay Products from August 2007 to October 2013, Chief Scientific Officer at Anvil: The Materials Forge, Inc. in 2006-2007, Laboratory Manager at The Atomic Engineering Laboratory from 2005 to 2006, and Staff Technician at the Complex Materials Section of the Naval Research Laboratory from 2000 to 2005. Earlier experience involved managing the quality control laboratory at TIEPET from 1995 to 2000. Shannon Morrison earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The George Washington University and holds both an MS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BS in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
