Larissa Ferreira

Larissa Ferreira has a diverse work experience in the field of QA Engineering and Software Engineering in Test. Larissa began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Miami, where they focused on machine learning, software engineering, database management, and crowdsourcing. Larissa also had research assistant roles at Drexel University and the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.

Following their research positions, Larissa worked as a Web Development Intern at Conbuss, gaining experience in web development. Larissa then joined Motorola Mobility as a QA and Software Localization Engineer, specializing in UI Automator and Java for mobile testing automation and continuous integration of localized strings. Larissa also worked as a QA Engineer and Software Engineer in Test at Motorola Mobility, performing sanity, regression, and exploratory testing.

Larissa further expanded their expertise as a QA Engineer and Software Engineer in Test at everis, where they served as a tech team leader and consultant, responsible for training. Larissa utilized tools and technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, LeanFT, JUnit, and Postman for e2e and API testing. Subsequently, they worked at iamMoney as a QA Engineer and Agile Engineer, using tools like Cypress and Cucumber for e2e testing, Cypress and Postman for API testing, and ReactJS for web development.

After their time at iamMoney, Larissa joined Aubay as a QA Engineer and Software Engineer in Test. Larissa then continued their career as a QA Engineer - Software Engineer in Test at Santander Portugal, working as a consultant for Aubay. Their responsibilities included mobile testing, test case modeling, and utilizing technologies such as Appium, Cucumber, and Java.

Currently, Larissa is working as a QA Engineer at Beyond, starting in October 2021.

Larissa Ferreira completed their Master's degree in Software Engineering at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2017. Larissa also spent a year studying Computer Engineering at Iowa State University from 2014 to 2015. In addition, Larissa obtained a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf in August 2019.
