Wim Dokter is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Byondis since November 2019. Previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer at Synthon Biopharmaceuticals B.V. and Vice President Preclinical at Synthon from 2011 to October 2019. Additional experience includes positions as Program Leader in Immunology and Pharmacologist at Merck and Schering-Plough, as well as various roles in Research & Development at Organon Pharmaceuticals. Academic credentials include a PhD in Hematology/Oncology from the University of Groningen and a Drs in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the same institution, complemented by studies at Stony Brook University.
