Herbert Hughes

Herbert Hughes is a seasoned executive currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Byrna Technologies Inc. since June 2022, following a tenure on the board that began in 2019. Hughes also holds the position of CFO at Wormhole Labs, Inc. and its predecessor TapThere Inc. since October 2014, and has been CEO of Domino Sands LLC since January 2014, overseeing operations in the Oil and Gas industry. As Founder and President of Buttons, launched in Fort Worth, a dining and live music concept, and Managing Director at HHM Capital since January 2005, Hughes provides analytical and advisory services in corporate structuring and Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Derivatives and Risk Management at Bass Enterprises from 1995 to 2004. Herbert Hughes earned a degree in Economics from Harvard University in 1982.
