Mike McDonald

Mike McDonald has extensive work experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial management and surveying. Mike is currently working as the Commercial Director at Byrne Bros (Formwork), a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Commercial Manager at the same company from June 2016 to January 2020. Before joining Byrne Bros, Mike worked at HOC UK Ltd as the Surveying Manager in 2015. Mike also held the role of Senior Commercial Manager at Byrne Bros from February 2013 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Senior Consultant at CR Management from March 2008 to February 2013. Mike served as the Divisional Financial Director at ISG InteriorExterior from 2005 to 2008, the Southern Divisional Commercial Director at M J Geeson Plc from 2003 to 2005, and the Regional Commercial Director at Jarvis Construction from 2001 to 2003. Mike's career in the construction industry began in 1987 when they joined Heery International as a QS, a position they held for 14 years until 2001.

Mike McDonald attended Sir John Deane's Grammar School from 1974 to 1979, where they completed their GCSE studies. Mike later enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University from 1981 to 1985, earning a BSc. in Quantity Surveying.
