Nilesh Jhawar

Nilesh Jhawar has a strong background in business development, marketing, and general management. Nilesh currently holds the position of Senior BD- Power and Special Projects at Byrne Equipment Rental LLC since July 2022. Prior to this, Nilesh served as General Manager at Sterling and Wilson from January 2016 to December 2022, where they were responsible for the P & L of Diesel power solutions in the MENA region. During their tenure, they successfully prequalified product and project solutions with prestigious organizations such as ADDC, EMAAR, DEWA, Supreme Committee for FIFA Qatar, ADNOC, Command of Military Works, and Presidential Guard Command. Before joining Sterling and Wilson, Nilesh held the position of Regional Business Manager at The MGT GROUP, Dubai from May 2007 to December 2015. In this role, they focused on business development, marketing, and building an agent network for the oilfield equipment and tubular business. Nilesh has a strong track record of achieving sales targets and implementing effective marketing strategies.

Nilesh Jhawar holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering, which they obtained from the University of Pune from 1995 to 1998. Nilesh further pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Pune between 1999 and 2001. In 2022, Nilesh completed a certification course in Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage from edX. Nilesh also obtained additional certifications, including a LinkedIn certification in Construction Management: Managing Risk in March 2023 and a LinkedIn certification in Transitioning from Manager to Leader in January 2023. Additionally, Nilesh obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Climate Change: Carbon Capture and Storage in September 2022.
