Haidong Gao

Haidong Gao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in client-side development and cross-platform solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ByteDance since April 2016, Haidong has previously held similar senior roles at Tango.me from September 2011 to April 2016, where a C++ cross-platform layer was implemented to share common logic. Prior to that, at Nokia from July 2008 to September 2011, responsibilities included the development of Symbian OS Media Transfer Protocol and Near Field Communication components as a key agile team member. Earlier experience includes working at VIA Technologies, Inc. from April 2006 to July 2008 on a Linux-based smartphone project utilizing Qt Embedded and Qtopia. Haidong holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Beihang University, completed between 1999 and 2006.
