Jinlai Xu

Jinlai Xu is a skilled researcher and engineer currently working at ByteDance since January 2022, contributing to the fields of AML and Infrastructure System Lab. Prior to this role, Jinlai was a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information from September 2015 to December 2021, where teaching responsibilities included multiple courses in Cloud Computing and Information Security & Privacy. Jinlai held a Software Engineer Intern position at Facebook in 2019, focused on Stream Processing, and began the academic journey as a Research Assistant at China University of Geosciences. Jinlai holds a PhD in Information Science/Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an MS and BS in Computer Software Engineering from China University of Geosciences.
