Chiara Maltese

Chiara Maltese has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chiara most recently worked at Bywaters as the Head of ISO Compliance, where they managed and enforced the company's Environmental, Quality, and Energy Management Systems. Prior to that, they served as a Quality and Environmental Manager at Bywaters, overseeing various responsibilities such as conducting site inspections, implementing training programs, and supporting clients in achieving their environmental goals. Before joining Bywaters, Chiara worked as a Health and Safety Officer at Mail Boxes Etc. (UK) Limited and as a Shipping and Mail Boxes Manager at Mail Boxes Etc. Chiara also gained experience as a Team Leader and Shop Supervisor at Amorino. Chiara'searlier roles include serving as an Environmental Advisor and H&S Manager at EDF (Fenice SpA Italy), an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at Fiat Group Automobiles, and a Waste Management Consultant at EDF Fenice.

Chiara Maltese holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Palermo, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering at the same institution, from 2001 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Chiara has obtained several certifications. These include FORS practitioner certification from FORS - Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme in February 2023, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from BSI in February 2020, Nebosh ICG H&S certification from NEBOSH in August 2019, and GESE grade 9 with distinction certification from Trinity College London in April 2016.
