Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith has a strong background in quality assurance and laboratory management. Sharon is currently serving as the Associate Director of Quality at CAPS®. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Quality at APS La Belle a Pantheryx Company. Sharon has also worked at Geneva Laboratories, Inc., where they served as the Technical Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Laboratory Technician at Northwestern University - Dept. of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology. Overall, Sharon Smith has extensive experience in quality management and laboratory operations.

Sharon Smith obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology & Chemistry from Miami University, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Additionally, they obtained certification in ISO/IEC 17025 and Accreditation Course from A2LA in 2010.
