Derek Brylski

Derek Brylski is a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer at CC Johnson & Malhotra P.C. since October 2013, specializing in the electrical design of various facilities including commercial, educational, and water treatment projects. Expertise encompasses power and lighting systems, emergency power, fire alarm systems, service and power distribution, and LEED compliance, among others. Prior experience includes roles at W-T Engineering, Proteus Group, Larson & Darby Architects, Metro Design Associates, Gurtz Electric Co, and U.S. Electric/TNC Engineering, where Derek contributed to numerous projects, often serving as Design Lead. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago and an Associate’s degree from Harper College.
