Kaiyi Zhang

Kaiyi Zhang is a civil engineer with experience at C.C. Johnson & Malhotra, PC since February 2022, focusing on civil plans design and traffic control systems, as well as updating project specifications for DC Water and the City of Baltimore. Prior to this role, Kaiyi served as a project coordinator at ANCHOR HOMES from March 2019 to February 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing sitework construction, conducting erosion and sediment control inspections, and coordinating permit applications with local authorities. Kaiyi also gained early experience as an environmental intern at the Hengshui Environmental Protection Bureau in 2015, conducting environmental testing and compliance inspections, along with researching agricultural impacts on local water resources. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Beijing Normal University.
