Jonathan Whittaker

Jonathan Whittaker has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and transformation field. Jonathan is currently working at C. Hoare & Co. as the Chief Data Officer, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Technology & Transformation from January 2022 to April 2023, Head of Technology from May 2020 to December 2021, Head of Technology Platforms from April 2019 to April 2020, and Head of Technology Transformation from October 2017 to March 2019.

Before joining C. Hoare & Co., Jonathan worked as a Transformation Programme Director as a freelancer from May 2011 to November 2017. Jonathan also served as a Programme Director for the Major Technology Transformation Programme at The Home Office from March 2014 to March 2017. Additional roles include Transformation Programme Manager at Prudential Assurance from June 2013 to February 2014, Programme Consultancy at Bank of England from November 2012 to May 2013, Programme Manager (Contract on behalf of Trinity Ltd) at Phoenix Group from May 2011 to October 2012, Technical Programme Manager/Consultant at Trinity Expert Systems from November 2008 to April 2011, Senior Project Manager at E.ON from February 2006 to November 2008, and Project Manager at Orchid UK from December 2003 to January 2006.

Jonathan Whittaker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Computing from Staffordshire University. Jonathan started their studies in 1999 and completed the program in 2003, graduating with a Second Class Honours (2:1) distinction.
