Clinical Lead at C the Signs

Lois Winstanley has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Lois currently holds the position of Clinical Lead at C the Signs, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a General Practitioner in the NHS since September 2019. Lois has also been a PHD Student at the University of Bristol from September 2021 to February 2023. Additionally, they served as the Lead for H4NHS at the Common Mission Project from April 2021 to September 2021. Before that, they were an Academic Clinical Fellow GPST at Queen Mary University of London, starting in August 2014 and ending in September 2019. Lois also worked as a GPVTS at the City and Hackney GP Confederation during the same period. Furthermore, they completed a Foundation Year 2 at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust from August 2013 to August 2014, and a Foundation Year 1 at Ealing Hospital from August 2012 to August 2013.

Lois Winstanley has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 2006, they enrolled at the University of Liverpool where they completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB). Following this, in 2010, they pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) focused on Child Health at the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, University of Liverpool, which they completed in 2012.

In 2017, Lois Winstanley attended Queen Mary University of London, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research. Lois then furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Health and Care at the University of Bristol, from 2021 to 2023.

Additionally, Lois obtained an important certification, the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), from the Royal College of General Practitioners in September 2019.
