Jim Wathen

Jim Wathen is the current Safety Director at C.W. Driver, Incorporated. Jim has held this position for 17 years and 11 months. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring that all employees have safe working conditions, that all safety regulations are observed, and that employees use common sense to protect themselves and others. Jim has led C.W. Driver's teams in earning numerous awards and safety designations, including the Golden Gate Partnership in Safety Awards and the SHARP (Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program) recognition with Cal/OSHA. C.W. Driver was one of 17 firms in our category, state-wide with this honor prior to Cal/OSHA program changes in 2015. The Cal/OSHA VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) awards on a project-specific basis.

Jim Wathen is a 30 & 10-hour OSHA Instructor/Trainer who is also Cal Osha certified. Jim is also a CPR/First-Aid Instructor and has a Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health. Jim is also a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Jim has also completed Emergency Medical Technicians Training and is a SWPPP Practitioner.
