Evan Borras

Evan Borras is an AI Specialist at ConvergeOne since March 2021, with experience as an AI/ML Engineer Intern at OjaExpress (Techstars 2020) from October 2020 to February 2021, where focus was on developing a product recommendation system. Prior to these roles, Evan completed a Machine Learning Engineering Career Track at Springboard, during which machine learning and deep learning systems were built and deployed. Additional experience includes research internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Agilent Technologies, where experiments were designed and statistical models were developed using machine learning techniques. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from UC Santa Barbara (2014-2018) and possesses strong technical skills in Python and various data science frameworks.
