Sophie Hsiao

Sophie Hsiao is a Sustainable Investment Senior Fellow at 17 Asset Management, focusing on research related to SDG-aligned equity portfolios, impact metrics, and financial models since July 2022. Previous experience includes an Analyst role at STI Financial Group, where Sophie Hsiao supported product design and investment evaluations in various sectors, and founding 17Arabic, a social startup connecting refugees and women in Jordan through work opportunities. Additional contributions to the Global Shapers Community involved launching humanitarian projects in Taiwan, while earlier roles at Arabia Monitor and Travco L.L.C. emphasized market expansion and investment analysis in the MENA region. Sophie Hsiao's education encompasses an MIA in International Finance and Economic from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Arabic Language and Literature from National Chengchi University, complemented by exchange programs in related fields at prestigious institutions.
