Matthieu Desjardins

Co-Founder & CTO at C12 Quantum Electronics

Matthieu Desjardins is the Co-Founder & CTO at C12 Quantum Electronics. Matthieu was previously a post-doctorate position at Telecom ParisTech and a PhD at École normale supérieure.

Desjardins' experience is in quantum physics, nano-fabrication, low-noise RF instrumentation, and data processing. Matthieu has developed electronic nanocircuits designed to probe and manipulate the quantum behavior of an electron trapped in a carbon nanotube. Matthieu has also worked on developing a RF electromagnetic probe (a microwave cavity) able to detect the motion of a single electron with a record sensitivity, and shaping novel electronic correlations in carbon nanotubes in collaboration with the nano-magnetism team of University Paris Sud.

Matthieu Desjardins studied engineering at École Polytechnique, before completing a Master of Science at Freie Universität Berlin. Matthieu then participated in the Challenge + program at HEC Paris, before becoming a founder at Deeptech.

Maria El Abbassi - Characterization Lead, Radoslaw Jurga - API Engineer, and Nicolas Hauseux - Quantum Computing Software Stack Lead Developer report to Matthieu Desjardins. Some of their coworkers include Juliette Ginies - Chief of Staff. Matthieu Desjardins reports to Pierre Desjardins, Co-Founder & CEO.
