Phillip Crawford, P.E.

Phillip Crawford, P.E. has been working in the engineering field since 2012. Phillip began their career at Genentech as a DS MSAT Intern in 2012, and then returned to Genentech in 2014 as a Purification Process Engineer II (DS MSAT). In this role, they were the lead engineer for chromatography, virus filtration, and ultrafiltration/diafiltration TFF unit-operations on commercial, clinical, and qualification drug substance manufacturing processes. From 2017 to 2020, Phillip worked at Impossible Foods as a Senior Process Engineer and Process Engineer II. Phillip then joined NOVAVAX INC in 2020 as a Senior Project Engineer and Senior Bioprocess Engineer. Currently, Phillip is employed at C16 Biosciences as a Pilot Plant Manager.

Phillip Crawford, P.E. obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. Phillip then obtained their Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2013. In 2016, they obtained a Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
