Eric Smith

Eric Smith is currently serving as the AI Solution Director at C3 AI since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Multiphase Technology Specialist at Assured Flow Solutions LLC from December 2017 to February 2023, and Manager of Technology at Wood from January 2011 to December 2017. Eric also held a postdoctoral position at the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research for a brief period in 2010 and was a research student at the University of Notre Dame from July 2004 to August 2010, where a Ph.D. was earned in Chemical Engineering. Earlier research experience includes contributions at Calvin College and internships at Pfizer, focusing on reaction calorimetry and sampling systems for pilot plant reactors. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Math, and Chemistry from Calvin University.
